Description

You will own the test automation strategy and execution for complex applications, ensuring high-quality releases through robust CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Cypress and JavaScript.
• Lead the migration of existing test suites from Protractor to modern Cypress-based solutions.
• Evaluate functional and non-functional requirements for testability and provide accurate effort estimates and ROI metrics.
• Manage CI/CD workflows using Git and Jenkins to integrate automated tests seamlessly.
• Collaborate within agile teams (Scrum, Kanban) to recommend tools and processes that improve automation coverage.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on software test automation experience.
• 2-3 years of specific experience with Cypress and JavaScript.
• Proven track record of migrating test suites from Protractor.
• Strong proficiency in managing CI/CD tools, specifically Git and Jenkins.
• Experience working in agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban, or XP).
• Ability to evaluate testability of requirements and calculate automation ROI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under tight timelines and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with non-functional testing automation.
• Background in recommending and implementing new automation tools.
