Description

Execute manual, automated, and system testing for web, client/server, and data warehouse applications. Design and implement test cases based on functional specifications. Build test rigs using shell scripts, SQL, or programming. Diagnose problems, track resolutions, and communicate progress to development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute test cases and scenarios based on functional specifications.
• Develop and implement test automation scripts using established automation tools.
• Create test plans, test cases, and individual test procedures within the test repository.
• Build test rigs using shell scripts, SQL, programming, or manually edited data.
• Diagnose problems, record results, and track resolutions through to completion.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in STLC and SDLC.
• Proficiency with Selenium.
• Experience with QuickTest Pro, Load Runner, Winrunner, or SOAtest.
• Experience with SOAP UI, JIRA, or Quality Center.
• 2+ years of experience with programming, databases, and operating systems.
• Ability to perform testing tasks involving planning, scheduling, and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related technology field.

Preferred Skills

• Willingness to travel to various client sites across the USA.
