Good to Have Skills: ISTQB certification particularly Test Automation Engineer certification, experience with Azure DevOps and GitLab, knowledge of JavaScript and Java programming languages, TestRail experience, performance testing and automation frameworks, database systems and SQL knowledge, understanding of scientific principles and laboratory workflows, experience with mass spectrometers and electron microscopes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work on sophisticated applications that control analytical instruments including mass spectrometers and electron microscopes.
• Collaborate with developers, scientists, and stakeholders to validate software that enables groundbreaking research and innovation.
• Contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of advanced software solutions used in scientific equipment.
• Write clear, comprehensive test plans, test cases, and documentation for various testing scenarios.
• Identify, reproduce, and clearly document software defects found during testing processes.
• Work with cross-functional, global teams to deliver high-quality software products.
• Support scientific discoveries in fields like cancer research, drug development, and semiconductor manufacturing.

Experience Required: Advanced Degree with no prior experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience in software testing with emphasis on automated testing.

Education: Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Bioinformatics, or related technical/scientific field
