Description

You will execute manual and automated testing for vehicle systems and software benches, focusing on agricultural machinery functionality.

Responsibilities

• Write, execute, and maintain test cases for vehicle systems and software bench testing.
• Perform testing on machine ECUs and displays, specifically targeting CAN bus functionality and autoguidance features.
• Develop Python test scripts for bench-level software testing.
• Analyze test results to improve future coverage and ensure requirement traceability.
• Generate test reports and track progress against software release schedules.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or related roles.
• Experience with agricultural equipment, operations, or related technologies like seed sensing and path planning.
• Proficiency in Python for test script creation.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automation testing.
• Working knowledge of CAN communication, J1939, and ISOBUS protocols.
• Ability to interpret system and software requirements to develop test cases.
• Understanding of V&V concepts including functional, regression, performance, and boundary testing.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical communication skills.
• BS/MS in Agriculture, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Squish for QT test automation.
