Description

Act as the primary customer for enterprise and cloud-managed WiFi products, identifying complex bugs that autonomous frameworks miss.

Responsibilities

• Design test plans, network topologies, and methodologies to verify product features.
• Own specific features as the single point of contact and testing expert.
• Execute test plans and report detailed bugs with reproduction steps, impact analysis, and mandatory logs.
• Develop tools to automate testing procedures and increase team efficiency.
• Reproduce and debug escalated customer issues in the lab alongside support and systems engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience testing and troubleshooting cloud technologies, virtualization, and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals across the OSI stack and Linux systems.
• Proficiency with Hadoop and Big Data technologies including HDFS, HBase, Spark, Kafka, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with SQL and server-side validations.
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals, specifically scalability, elasticity, availability, and fault-tolerance.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills for complex software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with wired or wireless networks.
• Python scripting skills.
• Experience with load, stress, and capacity testing.
