Description

You will own software verification across functional, integration, and system levels for robotic platforms. You write verification plans, execute formal testing in regulated environments, and validate release candidate builds. You conduct ad-hoc and exploratory testing, verify bugs, and participate in technical design reviews. You perform software tool validation including IQ/OQ/EQ and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute verification plans and protocols for software functionality.
• Install software on robotic platforms and test release candidate builds.
• Conduct ad-hoc, exploratory testing, and bug verification.
• Perform software tool validation including IQ/OQ/EQ of systems.
• Participate in technical design reviews for requirements and specifications.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
• Mandatory experience with Squish test automation framework.
• Proficiency in Python scripting.
• Proficiency with Linux commands.
• Experience with embedded software, firmware, and hardware.
• Experience testing complex electro-mechanical or robotics systems.
• Proficiency with Jira for defect tracking.
• Experience with JAMA or similar requirements management tools.
• Experience performing system/instrument qualification or equivalency testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in medical device or surgical robotics industries.
• Knowledge of IQ, OQ, and EQ processes.
