Description

Execute testing cycles for distributed systems within an Agile Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, GUI, data, regression, and system integration testing for product releases.
• Report, manage, and prioritize defects, collaborating with the Agile team to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure enhancements meet quality standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning, risk identification, and task estimation.
• Maintain QA documentation and suggest process improvements to increase testing efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience in an Agile Scrum development environment.
• Experience testing high-availability, distributed systems.
• In-depth knowledge of software testing principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in automation testing using OpenText (Micro Focus) Unified Functional Testing (UFT) or similar tools.
• Experience with manual testing and SQL.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis on defects in complex software components and services.
• Experience working with engineering software.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
