Lead quality strategy by embedding test-first thinking into every phase of delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for integration, contract, performance, and end-to-end layers.
• Coach engineers on testability, TestOps, and shift-left principles.
• Own and evolve test frameworks and tooling across frontend and backend layers.
• Implement observability-driven testing and feedback loops for production incidents and regression risks.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to ensure test coverage and traceability to business requirements.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in software testing or engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java or TypeScript.
• Proficiency with JUnit 5, Allure, Cucumber, and Playwright.
• Deep understanding of SDLC and shift-left environments (BDD, TDD, contract testing).
• Experience with REST/gRPC APIs, message queues, and distributed systems.
• Ability to architect and maintain scalable automation suites.
• Strong English communication skills for articulating reasoning and assumptions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Dutch.
