About the Role

We are looking for a Software Tester with strong experience in both manual and automation testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of web applications, APIs, and backend workflows.

Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements and prepare test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and usability testing.
• Test web applications, APIs, databases, and backend workflows.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track defects through closure.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Validate data using SQL queries.
• Work closely with developers and product teams during releases.
• Support test execution within CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare test reports and release-quality summaries.

Required Skills

• 4–5 years of software testing experience.
• Strong experience in manual testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools.
• Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman.
• Good understanding of testing methodologies and defect life cycles.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.
• Ability to write clear test cases, bug reports, and automation scripts.

Good to Have

• Experience testing SaaS or enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to performance, security, or mobile application testing
