Description

Own the quality and reliability of web applications, APIs, and backend workflows through manual and automated testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write test plans, scenarios, and cases based on product requirements.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and usability testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and API layers.
• Identify, document, and track defects through closure using Jira.
• Validate data integrity using SQL queries and support test execution in CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 4–5 years of software testing experience with strong manual testing foundations.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for automation.
• Proficiency in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Ability to write clear test cases, bug reports, and automation scripts.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing SaaS or enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines.
