Description

You will ensure software quality by analyzing requirements and executing comprehensive testing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain test plans, scenarios, and test cases based on design documents and user stories.
  • Execute functional, regression, system integration (SIT), and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, record, and track defects using Jira, Bugzilla, or HP ALM.
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects and suggest corrective actions to the development team.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements and ensure full test coverage.
  • Identify opportunities for test automation to improve testing efficiency.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing or QA engineering.
  • ISTQB certification (Foundation Level or higher) is required.
  • Proficiency with defect tracking tools including Jira, Bugzilla, or HP ALM.
  • Experience with System Integration Testing (SIT) and system testing.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience working within agile development environments.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the Telecommunications or Banking sectors.
  • Knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks, including UFT.
