Description

Perform end-to-end testing for Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, covering mobile interfaces to backend services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute functional, regression, release, and acceptance test strategies in an Agile environment.
• Create automated UI tests using Appium and API tests using Karate or equivalent RESTful tools.
• Debug native iOS and Android mobile applications alongside a Java SpringBoot backend stack.
• Verify data integrity, UI/UX consistency, and persistence across multiple systems.
• Document bugs, issues, and status reports with high detail for cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Proficiency in debugging iOS and Android applications via Android Studio and Xcode.
• Experience testing SpringBoot Java microservices and cloud databases on Microsoft Azure or Oracle Cloud.
• Ability to debug through logs and APM tools such as Google Cloud Logs, ArgoCD, or New Relic.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Competency with IntelliJ, VSCode, or other standard development environments.
• Proven ability to create detailed test plans and lead reviews with engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience testing Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
