Description

Develop and manage automatic transmission control software using C and MATLAB/Simulink, ensuring quality through rigorous testing and validation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage automatic transmission control software features using C-code and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Coordinate requirements, changes, and validations with HIL and calibration teams.
• Perform software testing and validation, ensuring coverage and performance metrics are met.
• Act as the primary point of contact for issue triage, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Support software releases, documentation, and lifecycle processes including test reports and calibration guides.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in automatic transmission software development and control systems.
• Hands-on expertise in C programming for embedded systems.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, including Stateflow, for developing and testing transmission control algorithms.
• Strong experience with software testing, validation metrics, and Agile development processes.
• Ability to coordinate with calibration and HIL teams for end-to-end delivery.
