Description

You will own the validation lifecycle by writing test code, executing cases, and generating clear reports.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive validation test plans that encompass both automated and manual test cases.
• Write reusable test code and execute test cases to generate clear, actionable reports.
• Analyze complex problems, breaking them down into small, logical pieces for effective testing.
• Think creatively to test products in common use-case scenarios and push systems in unconventional ways.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, details, and clear documentation throughout the development process.

Required Skills

• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, EE, Math, or equivalent industry experience.
• Critical ability to write and understand Python code.
• Strong knowledge of Windows as a development and test environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with software version control (SVN, Git) and project tracking systems.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience in engineering verification or validation.
• Understanding of C, C++, and/or C#.
• Familiarity with Linux, PyTest, Jenkins, Jama, and the Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence).
