Description

Lead verification testing for microservices and laboratory automation control systems in a regulated environment. You will own the automated testing framework and guide a team of test engineers.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop a scalable automated testing framework for functional, API, integration, performance, and stress tests.
• Translate software and design specifications into comprehensive verification protocols, test plans, and reports.
• Lead a team of test engineers, providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews to ensure high test coverage.
• Manage the defect lifecycle by leading bug scrum meetings with stakeholders to prioritize fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to optimize testing workflows and troubleshoot complex performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 10 years of professional experience as an Automation Software Test Engineer.
• Proven track record using Pytest and Selenium frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Python, React, REST API, and Docker containers.
• Experience with Jenkins scripts, K8S CLI, and Linux-based bash CLI.
• Expertise in version control using Git and collaborative coding workflows.
• Experience writing formal Verification Test Plans, Protocols, and Reports.
• Demonstrated experience in leadership, mentoring, and small team management.
• Bachelor or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
