Description

You will design, develop, validate, and debug software and firmware for client-server management stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multitasking, event-driven real-time software and firmware.
• Optimize full-stack software including firmware, drivers, OS, middleware, SDKs, and frameworks.
• Develop reference cloud platform software to enable server management functions.
• Work within open source code bases in a lab environment.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of software or firmware development experience (3+ years with a Master's Degree).
• 3+ years of experience using C and C++.
• 2+ years of experience with RTOS and/or Linux, including u-boot, device drivers, and multi-threaded applications.
• Demonstrated expertise in RTOS concepts such as task switching, deadlocks, and resource management.
• Experience spanning firmware, drivers, OS, middleware, SDKs, and frameworks.
• Ability to work with Linux and open source code bases.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience developing Linux Kernel device drivers.
• Experience with modern C++11 or newer, specifically C++17.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, ipv4/ipv6, and socket programming.
