Lead software and system verification and validation activities for automotive ECU products.
Responsibilities
- Execute testing, issue reproduction, and report generation in compliance with test plans.
- Review internal requirements, customer requirements, and technical specifications.
- Plan, execute, track, and report activities for onsite and offshore teams.
- Identify, mitigate, and escalate technical and project risks.
- Coordinate with customer, OEM, and third-party vendor teams during quality reviews.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in system and software engineering verification and validation for automotive ECU products.
- Experience with complete verification (SYS.4, SYS.5, SWE.5, and SWE.6) for Automotive Body controls or Chassis products.
- Proficiency with VTSystem, NI, or dSpace for system test bench development.
- Hands-on experience with CAN/LIN tools including CANoe and CANalyzer for simulation and data logging.
- Experience using DOORS or equivalent tools for requirements development and traceability.
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, program execution flows, and milestones.
- Knowledge of ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity standards.
- Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N3 level or above.
- English proficiency with TOEIC 600 or equivalent (writing and reading).

- Direct customer interface experience with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
