Description

You will manage and maintain Solaris and RedHat Linux environments on Sparc architecture hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure Solaris servers, including LDOM and Sun Fire hardware.
• Troubleshoot Solaris OS and hardware issues specific to Sparc architecture.
• Maintain storage integrity through ZFS/zpool management and troubleshooting.
• Execute Solaris 11 OS patching, SVM, and live upgrades.
• Manage user/group administration, Samba services, and printer configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of systems administration experience.
• Extensive administration experience with Solaris 11 and RedHat Linux.
• Hands-on expertise with Oracle Solaris LDOM, Sparc, and Sun Fire hardware.
• Deep knowledge of ZFS and zpool management.
• Proficiency in shell scripting.
• Experience with SVM and Live Upgrade processes.
• Knowledge of Samba configuration and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any field of study.
