Description

You will architect, deploy, and optimize SolarWinds modules (NPM, SAM, NTA, DPA) and LogicMonitor platforms across transit systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom dashboards, alerts, and reports aligned with operational KPIs and SLA thresholds using SolarWinds and LogicMonitor.
• Integrate SolarWinds with cloud platforms, enterprise systems, and third-party tools for unified observability.
• Partner with application owners to deliver out-of-the-box and custom monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and operations teams to maintain resilient monitoring coverage.
• Document architecture, workflows, and escalation protocols for internal and vendor stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SolarWinds in enterprise or public sector environments.
• 3+ years of experience deploying and managing LogicMonitor in hybrid or cloud environments.
• Strong command of SNMP, WMI, NetFlow, and database polling techniques.
• Proficiency in scripting using PowerShell and Python for automation and custom integrations.
• Experience managing hybrid environments (on-prem/cloud), specifically Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with database queries for custom database monitoring.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and incident response workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrable experience in critical infrastructure domains.
• Experience with Orion SDK and API-based data extraction.
