Description

You will lead the migration of monitoring solutions from Microsoft SCOM to SolarWinds, ensuring minimal downtime and operational disruption.

Responsibilities

• Develop migration strategies, assess current SCOM configurations, and define best practices for SolarWinds deployment.
• Configure, deploy, and integrate SolarWinds modules (NPM, SAM, NTA, SCM, VNQM) to ensure seamless monitoring coverage.
• Conduct testing to validate data accuracy, fine-tune performance monitoring, and optimize alert configurations.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot post-migration issues, and create detailed documentation for system configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure monitoring and management.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SCOM and SolarWinds monitoring tools.
• Strong knowledge of SolarWinds modules: NPM, SAM, NTA, SCM, VNQM.
• Expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with network monitoring protocols (SNMP, WMI, ICMP, NetFlow).
• Experience with SQL Server and database performance monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
