Description

You will lead the migration of IT monitoring infrastructure from Microsoft SCOM to SolarWinds, ensuring minimal operational disruption.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop migration strategies and assess current SCOM configurations for SolarWinds deployment.
• Configure and integrate SolarWinds modules (NPM, SAM, NTA, SCM, VNQM) for comprehensive monitoring.
• Conduct testing to validate data accuracy, fine-tune performance monitoring, and optimize alert configurations.
• Troubleshoot post-migration issues and create detailed documentation for system configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure monitoring and management.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SCOM and SolarWinds monitoring tools.
• Strong knowledge of SolarWinds modules: NPM, SAM, NTA, SCM, VNQM.
• Expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with network monitoring protocols (SNMP, WMI, ICMP, NetFlow).
• Experience with SQL Server and database performance monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
