Description

You will perform incoming inspection, soldering, and testing of circuit boards using approved procedures and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Execute soldering, testing, and component-level troubleshooting on PCBs.
• Inspect incoming boards and exercise judgment on repair versus replacement decisions.
• Document defects and report findings to minimize recurrence and repair costs.
• Utilize tools including calipers, power drills, laser testers, heat guns, and soldering irons safely.
• Provide feedback on product failures, power/data integrity, and control system programming.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in repair or service of lighting, small electronics, or technical products.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot PCBs to the component level.
• Proficiency in soldering and ESD prevention practices.
• Knowledge of power safety equipment and data integrity.
• Experience with control system programming and integration.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain color vision, distance vision, and depth perception for precision work.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crawl as required.

Preferred Skills

• Associate degree in electronics, electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
