Description

Manage and optimize the SolidWorks environment and Enterprise PDM system. Own the CAD infrastructure, ensuring reliable data management, version control, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Enterprise PDM system to oversee data management and version control.
• Troubleshoot SolidWorks issues and collaborate with IT and engineering teams for resolution.
• Develop scripts, templates, and automation tools to streamline design workflows.
• Provide user training and maintain documentation for CAD and PDM processes, standards, and best practices.
• Act as a liaison between users and software vendors to resolve complex issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in CAD administration focusing on SolidWorks and Enterprise PDM.
• Expertise in CAD software customization and automation.
• Experience with system integration and data migration.
• Proficiency with PLM and Enterprise PDM workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• SolidWorks Certification.
• Programming skills in VB.NET or C# for customization.
• Experience with additional CAD software and PLM systems.
