Description

Lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale global software products and integrations for telco customers.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into Statements of Work, High Level Design (HLD), and Low Level Design (LLD) documents.
• Own the entire development lifecycle from requirements and architecture through to coding, delivery, and operational transition.
• Lead a remote software development team, managing quality control through design reviews, code reviews, and testing.
• Manage lab testing, customer acceptance processes, and project schedules to ensure design requirements are met.
• Mentor new developers and manage resource requirements and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software architecture and leading development teams for telco-scale applications.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
• Proven experience designing medium to large-scale distributed micro-services.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise message buses such as Kafka or MQTT.
• Technical expertise with SNMP, XML, and REST protocols.
• Deep understanding of running applications at scale using Docker containerization.
• Experience practicing agile software development or serving as a Scrum Master.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration.
• Knowledge of network devices including Cisco, Cyan, or ALU.
