Description

Design and implement scalable, secure solutions within the Tax Technology Group using elastic cloud architectures and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design for software projects, translating stakeholder requirements into actionable specifications.
• Design and implement maintainable software solutions that align with business objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to optimize product platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, including conducting code reviews.
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure seamless deployment and system operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in architecture or software engineering roles.
• Proven experience on large-scale projects within organizations of 25+ team members.
• Extensive cloud architecture expertise, specifically within Azure.
• Proficiency in .NET application development and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of general architecture principles, software engineering, and data patterns.
• Proficiency with SQL Server, MySQL, NoSQL, or Cosmos DB.
• Experience with Azure SQL and Azure OpenAI.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Ability to oversee multiple products and effectively context-switch.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Auth0 for authentication and authorization.
• Familiarity with Angular, Snowflake, and Bicep.
• Experience with Azure services including Functions, App Insights, WAF, APIIM, Key Vault, Service Bus, AKS, ACR, and Storage Accounts.
