Description

You define end-to-end architecture and migration strategies from Teradata to Snowflake or Databricks on Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design medallion architecture patterns and data platform frameworks for batch and streaming workloads.
• Establish data management, governance, and security patterns aligned with financial services regulations.
• Architect CDC and streaming solutions for enterprise data integration.
• Provide architectural guidance on application and integration design that consumes platform data.
• Lead design reviews, document architectural decisions, and maintain technical blueprints.

Required Skills

• 10–12+ years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture roles.
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake and Databricks architectures and reference patterns.
• Strong understanding of Teradata and/or PowerCenter migration considerations to the cloud.
• Experience designing medallion architectures, data platforms, and data management frameworks.
• Solid background in application architecture, object-oriented design, and integration patterns.
• Expertise in cloud security architecture and controls on Azure.
• Hands-on proficiency with Python, PySpark, SQL, and data engineering concepts.
• Experience with cost optimization, capacity planning, and performance design in cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

• Togaf certification or experience with enterprise architecture frameworks.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
