Description

Architect and deliver scalable, cloud-first enterprise systems on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud migration projects for applications, infrastructure, and data.
• Decompose monolithic systems into microservices using domain-driven design.
• Define technical roadmaps, solution blueprints, and architecture decision records.
• Design RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and backend services.
• Mentor engineering teams on system design and coding standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in solution architecture or technical leadership.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and REST APIs.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services: EC2, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, Cognito, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudFront, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Neo4J.
• Strong understanding of system security, IAM, data pipelines, and scalable storage.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor onshore and offshore teams.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.
• Experience with CMS systems, enterprise integration patterns, Apache Solr, or CQ/Day CMS.
