Lead the implementation of an Enterprise Data Catalog and design data management solutions for internal clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise data solutions aligned with target state architecture and industry standards.
• Lead the implementation of a data catalog solution, including vendor evaluation and selection.
• Define and maintain metadata standards, taxonomies, and data profiling strategies across organizational sources.
• Collaborate with engineering, migration, and architecture teams to ensure seamless integration and strategy alignment.
• Prototype new technologies and cloud resources to drive data management innovation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics.
• 4+ years of experience in data architecture, management, and implementing industry standards.
• Experience with data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, or similar.
• Proficiency with data catalog tools like Collibra, Alation, or Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora, AWS RDS, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, governance practices, and integration techniques.
• Knowledge of data modeling, metadata management, and data lineage tracking.
• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines for large-scale ingestion and transformation.
• Familiarity with cloud-native data services, storage solutions, and analytics tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing scalable data pipelines to support business decision-making.
