Description

You will design and govern the API ecosystem and architectural roadmap for store technology systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Map and document all existing internal and third-party APIs consumed by store systems.
• Build and maintain a centralized API repository and catalog.
• Define API consumption standards and establish best practices across the domain.
• Document current "as-is" architecture and design future "to-be" target state architectures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and peer API owners to align technology strategy with business goals.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and software architecture principles.
• Experience in API governance and establishing architectural frameworks.
• Proficiency in architectural documentation and modeling.
• Broad knowledge of retail systems, cloud environments, databases, and security.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working specifically with retail systems.
