Description

Own the performance and stability of B2B and B2C eCommerce web properties and mobile applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and fine-tune front-end applications and backend commerce code to optimize performance.
• Own performance goals across all web components, Android, and iOS mobile applications.
• Shift performance analysis left into the DevOps cycle to ensure quality and velocity.
• Partner with Business, Dev, and SRE teams to maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines and environment requirements.
• Build roadmaps and lead prioritization while balancing structure for engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional IT experience delivering large-scale eCommerce system solutions.
• 5+ years of experience as a Development Lead, System Architect, or Solution Architect.
• Expertise in React, JavaScript, CSS, JSP, and Java.
• Deep understanding of browser behavior and application responsiveness for desktop, Android, and iOS.
• Ability to discern performance impact across the full stack, including caching layers, CDN, memory, file systems, and relational databases.
• Proven experience in leadership, governance, and consensus building across distributed value streams.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior members on design, website load modeling, and testing techniques.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and performance measurement tooling.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience increasing adoption of automated tools to improve quality and deploy frequency.
