Description

You will design on-premises application infrastructure topologies that meet enterprise standards and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize infrastructure requirements from application teams and cybersecurity partners.
• Design application topologies including physical or virtual servers, load balancers, storage, and network locations.
• Present technical designs to an architecture review committee for feedback and approval.
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineering and operations teams to manage component build-outs.
• Submit and manage work-orders for infrastructure deployment and specialized component builds.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application architecture, platform engineering, network engineering, or a related field.
• Deep familiarity with on-premises infrastructure components including networking, compute, storage, and load balancing.
• Experience operating within a large enterprise environment with complex security requirements.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong technical communication skills for presenting designs and incorporating constructive feedback.
• Experience managing specialized infrastructure such as dedicated physical servers, appliances, and airport site servers.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
