Description

Lead solution architecture and technical design for the JMS program, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical delivery across design, build, test, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define and govern API-first and event-driven architectures using Kong, Solace, Kafka, and MQ.
• Incorporate AI-enabled capabilities into solution designs for automation, intelligent routing, and analytics.
• Partner with development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to drive successful execution.
• Act as a technical liaison with stakeholders, translating business needs into well-architected solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years overall IT experience, with 5+ years in a Solution Architect or Senior Technical Lead role.
• Strong hands-on experience with API gateways (Kong preferred) and event-driven systems.
• Experience designing secure, PII-aware architectures, including data masking and encryption in transit and at rest.
• Cloud experience on AWS and strong collaboration with DevOps teams.
• Ability to provide hands-on technical guidance and troubleshooting when required.
• Experience working in a hybrid onsite/offshore delivery model.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience applying AI to integration platforms, messaging workflows, or operational monitoring.
• Familiarity with data pipelines and analytics that support AI solutions.
• Prior experience in regulated environments with strong data governance requirements.
