Description

Design and implement end-to-end hybrid architectures integrating AWS services with on-premises infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, secure solutions that bridge AWS services and on-premises technologies.
• Design hybrid environments using AWS Direct Connect and VPN Gateway to enable workload migration.
• Create architecture diagrams, deployment plans, and technical documentation.
• Ensure all solutions align with security, compliance, and industry best practices.
• Lead technical discussions with stakeholders and collaborate with DevOps, networking, and application teams.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in cloud and on-premises architecture design and implementation.
• Deep understanding of AWS Compute (EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS), Storage (S3, EBS, Glacier), and Networking (VPC, Route 53).
• Experience with AWS Databases (RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora) and Security (IAM, KMS, WAF).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with on-premises virtualization such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of on-premises databases including Oracle or SQL Server.
• Experience managing Windows and Linux server environments.
• Competency in networking fundamentals including DNS, VPNs, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios or Prometheus.
