Description

Design and deliver end-to-end infrastructure solutions on AWS for business teams and external collaborators.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable AWS infrastructure designs using EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, and ECS.
• Guide scientists and stakeholders through the infrastructure delivery process, ensuring efficient use of NVS resources.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Configure monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Splunk.
• Design data transfer solutions between external vendor accounts and internal AWS accounts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an AWS Solution Architect or DevOps Engineer.
• Deep proficiency in core AWS services: EC2, VPC, Gateways, Lambda, ELB, IAM, Route53, S3, RDS, EBS, EFS, ASG.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, K8s) and HPC environments.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows OS and virtualization.
• Proficiency in Draw.io for architectural diagramming.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• Familiarity with life sciences regulatory frameworks (GxP, HIPAA, FDA).
