Description

You will design and architect scalable, multi-tenant cloud-native data platforms and data products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define data architecture standards, principles, and guidelines for the organization.
• Design and implement data models, databases, and systems optimized for speed, efficiency, and reliability.
• Guide a team of Data Engineers through ETL processes, integrations, and data maintenance.
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of data management technologies to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Ensure data security, privacy compliance, and protection of sensitive data from unauthorized access.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience architecting complex data platforms on Azure Cloud and On-Prem environments.
• Expertise in relational and dimensional data modelling for reporting, dashboarding, and analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Proficiency with ETL tools including Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and Databricks/Spark.
• Strong proficiency with PowerBI.
• Ability to create Data Engineering and Analytics roadmaps.
• Experience designing solutions that meet business needs, including driving POCs and MVPs.
• Experience collaborating with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and other stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Programming experience in Java, .NET, Scala, or Python.
• Experience integrating AI with data products.
• Exposure to Data Fabric or Data Mesh concepts using tools like Microsoft Fabric, Starburst, Denodo, or Talend.
