Description

You will define and deliver the architectural solution for a centralized data platform supporting data acquisition and democratization across business units.

Responsibilities

• Set the architectural vision for the data platform in Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and lead the technical execution of the data platform roadmap with internal and partner support.
• Support business leads by crafting use cases and budgetary estimates for roadmap initiatives.
• Ensure overall platform quality and performance while reviewing systems for simplification opportunities.
• Advocate for continuous improvement of the data platform experience and data governance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in software development and technology leadership.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing scalable data solutions for enterprise environments.
• Extensive experience implementing data platform architectures using modern data warehousing and ETL/ELT toolchains.
• Experience designing and implementing systems to ensure data governance and democratization via Power BI or similar.
• Experience with Agile projects and managing hybrid vendor/employee teams.
• Experience applying DevOps principles to data platforms, including deployment automation.
• Strong proficiency in data security standards and best practices.
• Experience integrating data from multiple disparate end-sources, ideally with M&A background.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including executive presentation experience.
