Description

You will lead the design and implementation of strategies to migrate and modernize applications and data workloads to cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing applications to identify modernization opportunities, including architecture, dependencies, and data flows.
• Develop cloud migration plans and design optimal architectures for compute, storage, and network configurations.
• Guide application refactoring processes, focusing on microservices architecture and containerization.
• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud data solutions including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Data Mesh architectures.
• Execute data migration projects from on-premises systems to the cloud and optimize data pipelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in architecture and technical leadership.
• Deep expertise in AWS services including EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS, Fargate, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
• Proficiency with Azure services including AKS and Azure DevOps.
• Experience designing multi-cloud architectures considering data egress, residency, and workload distribution.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud-native technologies for application modernization.
• Ability to define data architectures, models, and integration patterns.
• Experience implementing data governance, security policies, and monitoring solutions.
• Proven track record of planning and executing large-scale data migration projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Data Mesh architectures.
