Description

You will design and implement IT architectures within a state government framework, ensuring alignment with FEA or California Enterprise Architecture Framework standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement IT architectures and reference models aligned with FEA or California Enterprise Architecture Framework.
• Develop and document enterprise architecture artifacts, including conceptualization and data modeling.
• Collaborate with business SMEs to analyze requirements and formulate technical strategies.
• Lead collaboration sessions, including data modeling, brainstorming, and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.
• Manage multiple disparate project tasks and deliverables concurrently using PMI frameworks.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, including IT architecture planning and implementation.
• 3+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect (EA) working with the State.
• 3+ years of experience developing and documenting EA artifacts and data modeling.
• 3+ years of experience communicating with business SMEs to capture requirements.
• 2+ years of experience designing reference models aligned with FEA or California Enterprise Architecture Framework.
• 2+ years of experience leading collaboration sessions with data, business, and application architects.
• Experience working within PMI or equivalent Project Management frameworks and scheduled tasks.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent project deliverables.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• 1 year of experience in a correctional environment focused on rehabilitation services and recidivism reduction.
• 2 years of experience developing business, application, data, and technology architecture artifacts for State of California procurement documentation.
