Description

Lead the design and implementation of Siemens Opcenter solutions in Greensboro, NC. You will direct development teams and manage the full lifecycle from system design to go-live support.

Responsibilities

• Lead developer teams in creating solutions using Opcenter FN and DS modules.
• Configure and develop software to resolve errors, adapt to requirements, and upgrade interfaces.
• Direct system testing, validation procedures, and software documentation development.
• Consult with customers on system design, maintenance, and project proposals.
• Manage deployment, UAT, go-live support, and ongoing application maintenance.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture.
• Deep expertise in Siemens Opcenter Execution Discrete (EX DS) and Foundation (EX FN), specifically version 3.3 onwards.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens Digital Logistics and Opcenter Intraplant Logistics.
• Proficiency in C++, C# programming, and the MVC paradigm.
• Strong skills in Visual Studio, REST API, and OData protocols.
• Experience with Mendix for UI development.
• Expertise in writing SQL stored procedures.
• Proven track record leading 1-3 Siemens Opcenter MES implementations.
• Experience with unit, functional, and integration testing.

Preferred Skills

• Domain knowledge in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
• Knowledge of Opcenter and SAP ECC integration.
• Agile way of working.
