You will design and deploy cloud-based application architectures that align business objectives with technical requirements.
Responsibilities
Design and implement multi-tier cloud applications and migration strategies from on-premises to cloud environments.
Architect cost-effective cloud solutions using the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and best practice patterns like microservices and serverless computing.
Develop and optimize Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) solutions, including data mapping, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling.
Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to implement real-time data streaming, batch processing, and data replication.
Provide architectural guidance across multiple projects, ensuring functional and non-functional requirements are met through appropriate service selection.
Required Skills
3+ years of recent consulting experience specifically within the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
5+ years of hands-on experience managing and operating cloud systems, specifically within Azure.
Expertise in Azure services including Azure Virtual Machines, App Service, AKS, Functions, Storage, and SQL Database.
Proven experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and data integration techniques.
Strong proficiency in data mapping, ETL, and data warehousing architectures such as star schemas and data marts.
Experience with real-time data streaming using Kafka or Azure Event Hubs.
Technical knowledge of migrating complex applications using Azure Migrate or Azure Site Recovery.
Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation.
Experience using Azure DevOps and Git for CI/CD pipelines and version control.
Preferred Skills
TOGAF certification or enterprise architecture experience.
