Description

You will design, migrate, and modernize big data architectures on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement BI and Big Data Analytics environments on-premise or on GCP.
• Migrate workloads from on-premise or other public clouds to Google Cloud Platform.
• Size, scale, and tune existing and new architectures in collaboration with operations teams.
• Design data security solutions covering encryption, access control, and storage management for GDPR compliance.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Data Analytics and Big Data.
• Extensive experience designing big data architectures on Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud BigQuery, GCS, Cloud DataFlow, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud BigTable.
• Experience with TensorFlow.
• Working knowledge of microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience migrating Data Warehouse and Big Data (Hadoop) projects from on-premise to GCP using BigQuery, DataFlow, and Dataproc.
• Familiarity with real-time streaming and processing of logs, time series telemetry, unstructured social data, and relational data.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with capacity planning for new Google Cloud initiatives, including sizing for storage, compute, and network.
