Description

Design complex multi-system environments and lead engineering teams in building medical device software.

Responsibilities

• Build detailed architectural diagrams and specifications to align technical stakeholders.
• Develop design specifications and proof-of-concept solutions to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Data Scientists on feature enhancements and system changes.
• Review code, define coding quality standards, and enforce best practices.
• Write technical documentation for product architectures and design proposals.

Required Skills

• 10-15 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on programming in Java, JEE, Spring, or modern cloud-native stacks.
• Experience with Python and Django.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Elastic Search.
• Deep understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, data structures, and memory management.
• Experience with microservices, client-server architectures, and cloud-native Linux environments.
• Knowledge of containerization and virtualization including Docker, Kubernetes, and VMs.
• Experience with AWS cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with networking protocols such as DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP, and gRPC.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of healthcare standards including DICOM and HL7/FHIR.
