Description

You will design and implement technology strategies and high-level architectures for specific business domains.

Responsibilities

• Build technology visions and conduct solution analysis, design, and planning to execute business strategy.
• Act as the single point of contact between IT and business stakeholders to develop solution designs for assigned capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Architects to align product roadmaps and feature delivery.
• Lead development teams during implementation by translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Provide data contracts to the data team to facilitate table design and coordinate with Data Architects.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in solution architecture, including high-level design and solution decomposition into domains.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Java frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices design and REST-based API design.
• Extensive experience with AWS services.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL DBMS including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Proficiency with Kafka message queues.
• Knowledge of containerization tools including RedHat OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience working within Agile/Lean development methodologies.
• Understanding of DevOps processes and CI/CD tools.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to create epics and stories for developers and manage implementation teams.
• Conduct POCs to evaluate new technologies and promote code re-use through inner sourcing.
