Description

You will design and guide the adoption of Temporal.io-based distributed systems for enterprise clients.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design workflow orchestration patterns including activities, task queues, retries, timeouts, signals, queries, and versioning.
• Architect resilient microservices using event-driven principles, ensuring idempotency, consistency, and failure handling.
• Build prototypes and provide design, development, and deployment guidance using Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
• Conduct architecture workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and technical risk assessments for migration and modernization programs.
• Define production readiness standards covering reliability, security, performance, scaling, and operational support models.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software architecture and distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in Temporal.io or similar workflow orchestration platforms.
• Proficiency in at least one Temporal-supported language: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, PHP, or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of API/service integration, REST/gRPC, and message/event platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes, and observability/monitoring practices.
• Cloud experience with at least one major provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience positioning technical solutions against alternative architectural patterns.
• Proven track record of engaging engineering leaders and key technical decision-makers.
