Description

You will design and document strategic technology deliverables within the Architecture & Governance function.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Co-author Architecture Decision Records, Solution Architecture Descriptions, and strategic guidelines.
• Analyze data architecture patterns, including how data is managed, stored, transformed, and used.
• Research technical topics and draft papers to coordinate internal technical discussions.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Data, and Security centers of excellence to develop blueprints and best practices.
• Prototype solutions and analyze data using development tools to compare technical options.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience architecting reporting or client-facing solutions.
• Deep expertise in Data Architecture, including databases, data catalogs, and data movement frameworks.
• Strong technical writing skills for producing architecture documentation and strategy artefacts.
• Experience working with Enterprise Architecture teams to implement policies, patterns, and standards.
• Practical understanding of structured architecture methodologies.
• Background in Financial Services or a similar regulated industry.
• Proficiency in Data Management and SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka, Event Bus architectures, or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of public cloud compute and cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience with data modelling tools or data catalogs.
