Own the technical architecture, build, and operational health of Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaigns, automations, and integrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy triggered journeys and personalized experiences in Journey Builder and Automation Studio using AMPScript, SQL, and SSJS.
• Manage day-to-day operational health of all campaigns, proactively monitoring sends, data flows, and triggers to resolve issues before business impact.
• Design and maintain a scalable data model within SFMC (Contact Builder, Data Extensions), partnering with Data Engineering on integrity and flow.
• Triage and prioritize competing technical requests from CRM, Product, and Creative teams, managing scope and timelines for multiple simultaneous initiatives.
• Act as the technical escalation point for integrations between SFMC and adjacent platforms, including APIs, mobile push providers, and CDPs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or senior technical CRM role with deep, hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud expertise.
• Expert proficiency in core SFMC modules: Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Contact Builder, and Data Extensions.
• Strong hands-on scripting ability in AMPScript and SQL; working knowledge of SSJS.
• Experience working with SFMC APIs and integrating Marketing Cloud with external systems such as CDPs, mobile push services, and data warehouses.
• Proven ability to project manage and prioritize competing requests in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and audience segmentation logic at scale.

Preferred Skills

• SFMC certification (Marketing Cloud Developer or Marketing Cloud Consultant).
• Experience in the streaming, subscription, or D2C industry.
