Description

You will design and deliver scalable, cost-effective end-to-end solutions while evaluating technical constraints and third-party tools.

Responsibilities

• Design architectures that prioritize scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) and build starter application code to guide development.
• Evaluate technical options and recommend optimal solutions under specific constraints.
• Implement data privacy solutions for requirements including DSR, ROPA, GDPR, and TLM.
• Assist developers in resolving complex technical issues and implementing best practices.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on programming expertise in Java and Python.
• Deep experience with Spring Boot and REST API development.
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Shell Scripting.
• Data engineering experience using BigQuery and Tableau.
• Working knowledge of relational databases (Postgres) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, Couchbase).
• Experience with Functional Architecture, C4 diagrams, and Data Modelling.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Previous experience with Amex environments.
