You will lead the design and development of scalable backend systems and complex integrations in Plano, TX.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable backend systems using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Implement integration solutions and RESTful APIs to ensure seamless data flow.
• Apply SRE principles to enhance system reliability, performance, and availability.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes to streamline application deployment and orchestration.
• Drive database architecture and optimization for SQL and NoSQL environments.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of Java development experience with Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in Microservices architecture and SOA (RESTful API, SOAP).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: EKS, S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency with containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Strong frontend development background using React.js, Redux, and Flux.
• Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization.
• Experience with test-driven development using JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock.
• Knowledge of security and quality tools such as Sonar, Fortify, and Web Inspect.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working within the financial sector.
• AWS certification.
