Description

Lead full-stack resiliency and availability reviews across applications, data, and infrastructure, while developing and enforcing repeatable, resilient reference architectures. This role requires deep expertise in Properties & Casualties domain, AWS cloud, and Guidewire Insurance Suite to ensure end-to-end solution alignment and adherence to industry standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review, execute, and enforce the Permit to Build (PTB) process with a focus on resiliency and availability components.
• Ensure all P&C Policy blueprints align with industry architecture standards.
• Identify opportunities for automation and AI-driven improvements in system design.
• Mentor and guide developers and engineers on architecture best practices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end solution alignment.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of total experience with at least 5 years in an architecting or senior engineering role.
• Properties & Casualties (P&C) insurance domain expertise.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and highly distributed architectures.
• Proven background in application engineering, specifically Java development.
• Associate level certification in Guidewire or demonstrable Guidewire Insurance Suite experience.
• Strong understanding of resiliency patterns and availability engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience driving automation initiatives within large-scale insurance platforms.
• Background in enforcing architectural governance and standards.
