Description

You will serve as an expert-level Solution Architect for the System application, leading efforts to enhance enterprise systems and sub-systems through detailed analysis and functional design.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design efforts, participating in JAD and JAR sessions to ensure technical solutions meet customer requirements.
• Own the end-to-end development lifecycle, including Java programming, code reviews, and triaging defects to determine root causes.
• Design and implement complex functionality for the MCP system while maintaining technical documentation and requirements traceability matrices.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by testing coding solutions through unit, assembly, and system test processes.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to state personnel through collaborative documentation, cross-training, and regular review sessions.

Required Skills

• 20+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, EAI, and shared services.
• 20+ years of expertise in Java/J2EE, JSP/Servlets, JDBC, and WebLogic.
• 20+ years of experience with Oracle DB, PL/SQL, and SQL.
• 20+ years of experience aligning Enterprise Architecture with business processes.
• 15+ years of experience in framework evaluation and recommendation.
• 10+ years of experience incorporating new technologies into enterprise IT.
• 10+ years of leadership experience.
• 5+ years of experience with JIRA, Bitbucket, ServiceNow, and Confluence.
• 5+ years of experience with CalPERS or Government Benefits Systems.
• Demonstrated experience with Cloud DB (AWS/Azure).
